Culture of Andorra

Andorra’s culture is deeply rooted in its Catalan heritage, sharing traditions, language, and customs with neighboring Catalonia. The country’s official language is Catalan, though Spanish and French are widely spoken.

Known for its Romanesque architecture, Andorra preserves some of Europe’s best medieval stone churches and artworks. Cultural life is rich with festivals such as Our Lady of Meritxell Day, celebrating the patron saint of Andorra.
